In Bali, the wind has its own season.
When it comes, the sky begins to fill.
Children and friends gather in fields.
You see them crossing the streets on scooters, carrying enormous kites that bend and sway above their heads.

It’s a time of building, testing, laughing, a moment of shared skill and connection. The kites are made with care, each one meant to fly high and carry a small message of gratitude.
It is work, play, and prayer all at once.

Alayang began from those afternoons, from watching how something so light could hold so much meaning. We wanted to keep that feeling and give it another form.

Every kite in the collection is handcrafted in Cepaka, Tabanan, by local artisans, preserving generations of Balinese craftsmanship.

Once complete, it’s framed with the same focus, built to last, made to travel, and still true to where it began.

During the first six months, 10% of profits will be donated to SD Negeri Cepaka, the local elementary school in Cepaka, Tabanan. Both the founders of PT Alayang Bali Indonesia and the artisans who craft the kites attended this school, making this contribution a meaningful way of giving back to the community.

Thereafter, Alayang intends to continue dedicating 10% of profits to carefully selected charitable initiatives and community projects across Bali, with new causes chosen periodically to ensure that our support reaches different communities and needs over time.

By giving back and supporting initiatives across the island, we aspire to ensure that as Alayang grows, the people, communities, and cultural heritage that sustain this craft can grow with it.
